Call For Papers

The first Secure Service Computing workshop (SSC'09) aims to bring togetherresearchers of the service computing and security communities to discuss and investigate the relationships between them. This will provide a forum where newimportant requirements and open research issues in securing service computing will be investigated, as well as new security solutions exploiting service computingtechnologies will be presented.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Identity management for services
  • Authentication for service
  • Rights management in service and cloud computing
  • Identity management for service and cloud computing
  • Security, privacy and trust in E-business solutions
  • Security, privacy and trust in cloud Computing
  • Web Services security and privacy
  • Security, privacy and trust in service composition, delivery, anddiscovery
  • Security, privacy and trust as a service
  • Semantically-aware security management
  • Engineering of trustworthy and secure services
  • Security and privacy assessments

All accepted papers will be published by IEEE Computer Society. At the end of the workshop, we plan to invite the best papers of the workshop for a special issue on an international journal.

At least one author of an accepted paper must attend the workshop to present the paper. Papers of no-show authors will be removed from the digital library after the conference and their affiliations will receive a notification.
